This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct two live sessions each week for a total of 15 weeks (comprising 13 weeks of instructional content followed by 2 weeks dedicated to exam review). Each session will last for one hour.
• Independently prepare for live sessions, dedicating up to 4 additional hours weekly.
• Create and update lecture materials as necessary.
• During Weeks 1-13, your live sessions will focus on reviewing essential concepts from the curriculum while allowing time for student questions and answers. You may also be tasked with course announcements and managing course logistics at the start and end of each session.
• Enhance learning through gamification by incorporating tools such as Kahoot during live sessions.
• During the two exam study weeks, you may be asked to hold additional office hours.
• Respond to student inquiries via our Course Advisors (via email) that require expertise in medical assisting, adhering to a specified service level agreement.
• Oversee Canvas discussion boards, monitoring student interactions and questions on a weekly basis.
• Weekly assignment grading may also be part of your responsibilities.
• With a solid understanding of best practices and various methods for delivering CCMA-aligned education online, apply your subject matter expertise in:
• Development of critical clinical skills for training certified clinical medical assistants.
• Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology.
• Healthcare Administration.
• Best practices in Clinical Communication.
• Ensuring appropriate content depth for entry-level MA training.
• Understanding the scope of practice for medical assistants.
• Adapting skill-based training for a home learning environment outside of traditional lab or clinical settings.
• Distinguishing between essential and supplementary didactic knowledge and task knowledge for CCMAs in training.
• You may be asked to:
• Collaborate with Springboard's Learning Experience team and Instructional Designers to modify session content as necessary.
• Address other needs as they emerge.
• Experience as a CCMA or CMA in a clinical environment.
• Proven experience in training Clinical Medical Assisting through online platforms.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of total professional experience.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools (e.g., Canvas, Zoom).
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities in front of large audiences.
• Excellent student empathy and communication skills.
• Must reside and work in the US.
