This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute tasks for the medical team, such as data entry, faxing, scheduling, and obtaining external priority records.
• Keep patient medical records current and accurate; this includes entering vital signs and uploading necessary documents.
• Supervise messaging within the medical team chat channels to respond to inquiries and engage the relevant medical staff as required to meet the needs of patients and their families.
• Conduct follow-ups on requested tests to ensure patients adhere to provider recommendations.
• Collaborate with various providers and staff to facilitate care coordination with external providers, including primary care physicians and student health centers.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to provide exceptional patient support.
• Input patient information and data into the EMR system.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) or a similar certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with medical and clinical providers in a medical assistant role.
• Highly organized and proficient administrator.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on confidentiality.
• Proficient in navigating electronic medical records.
• Ability and readiness to adapt to other tasks as needed.
• Enthusiastic and a strong team player is essential.
