Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations with clients and their families to evaluate their health requirements and formulate care plans.

• Assist with medication management by providing refills and reminders.

• Facilitate coordination of care with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses.

• Monitor and track clients' vital signs as well as their overall health status.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families on managing chronic conditions and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

• Maintain precise and current medical records.

• Communicate consistently with our team of caregivers to ensure optimal care for our clients.

• Comply with all HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality at all times.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.

• At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.

• Experience with virtual consultations and telemedicine is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and fundamental medical procedures.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in utilizing technology and virtual platforms.

• Ability to uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Compassionate and empathetic toward seniors and their families.

• Must reside in Ocala, FL or nearby areas.
