This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Assisting in the development of evidence strategies and implementing Coloplast's agenda within the clinical community.
• Promoting the acceptance of Coloplast product claims through publications and the strategic distribution of evidence.
• Creating evidence roadmaps that include surveys, pre-clinical and clinical data, patient-reported outcomes, case studies, consensus studies, literature reviews, and opinion papers.
• Producing new evidence, such as observational studies, registries, case studies, and consensus and opinion papers.
• Analyzing both published and new evidence, summarizing it in a format suitable for the education of healthcare professionals, payors, and government agencies.
• Building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to influence the clinical agenda, leading to enhancements in guidelines and medical policies.
• Recognizing external clinical opinions, perceptions, and trends that impact Coloplast's performance in the US and implementing appropriate strategies to address them.
• Collaborating with US and global cross-functional teams to identify business priorities and spearhead evidence strategy development.
• Utilizing literature, regulations, and guidelines to formulate and implement evidence strategies.
• Overseeing the execution of new evidence, which includes study design, data collection, interpretation, and publication to ensure relevant content is showcased at medical congresses and Coloplast events.
• Partnering with global cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, to identify research and publication opportunities using both new and existing data.
• Establishing and nurturing a KOL network that can support Coloplast's evidence generation, advocacy, and educational requirements.
• Aiding in the preparation for Coloplast meetings with government entities, such as the FDA and CMS, by offering medical expertise, utilizing KOL networks, and preparing evidence summaries and presentations.
• Influencing and shaping the outcomes of medical advisory boards when applicable.
• Providing medical expertise for innovative ideas, inquiries, and information requests related to Chronic Care products.
• Keeping abreast of trends and sharing new clinical evidence that addresses unmet needs, such as enhanced clinical, financial, or patient satisfaction outcomes, as supported by medical congresses, expert networks, and library searches.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., medicine, science, nursing).
• Over 8 years of experience in the medical device or health policy sector.
• At least 3 years of clinical or outcomes research experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 25% of the time.
• Strong capability to convert clinical and real-world evidence into clear and relevant messages.
• Business acumen and skills in influencing KOLs.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence dissemination practices and marketing claims substantiation used in the US medical device industry.
