📋 Description

• The NextGen Medical Affairs Manager operates at the intersection of Medical Affairs and Professional Education, spearheading the development and engagement of high-potential rising stars and emerging KOLs in TAVI.

• With extensive hands-on experience in transcatheter procedures and a robust coaching mindset, this role designs and implements customized educational and developmental pathways that enhance scientific, procedural, and professional advancement.

• Serving as a strategic connector across various countries and functions, the NextGen Medical Affairs Manager cultivates sustainable expert pipelines, identifies future proctors, and shapes the future of interventional cardiology through structured engagement, feedback-driven initiatives, and collaborative innovation.

• This highly collaborative position interfaces with Medical Education, Medical Affairs, and various countries to identify, create, and map out development and collaboration opportunities with Edwards to progressively engage with and train the new generations of healthcare professionals (HCPs).

• Monitor activities and gather corresponding feedback. Present progress by country in a concise manner.

• Collaborate with the Director to refine the NextGen strategy, including its segmentation and scoring.

• Proactively identify potential future proctors.

• Establish a NextGen working group to brainstorm the future of Healthcare in Interventional Cardiology, including technology, research, and training.

• Organize and lead dedicated events.


⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree and substantial professional experience in Interventional Cardiology, with a thorough understanding of transcatheter procedures such as TAVI.

• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 60% of the time.

• Previous experience as a trainer or coach is highly desirable; alternatively, a strong motivation and commitment to developing these skills are essential.

• Experience managing intricate healthcare projects within a matrix organization; project management skills are beneficial.

• A strategic mindset paired with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain robust professional relationships.

• Solid scientific knowledge and a critical understanding of cardiology literature.

• Capability to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, as well as with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
