This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Initiate and expand Taboola and Outbrain from the ground up to achieve a profitable spending target of approximately $25K per day.
• Organize campaigns, ad sets, and creative tests across both platforms, incorporating headline and thumbnail rotations provided by the creative team.
• Oversee performance at both site and publisher levels, including blocklisting, allowlisting, bid adjustments, and dayparting at the sub-ID level.
• Identify test winners and losers using a structured approach — analyzing full-funnel signals (such as advertorial engagement, click-through rates to offers, and post-click conversions) rather than relying solely on CTR and platform CPA.
• Establish and manage tracking in Voluum, ensuring attribution aligns with Northbeam.
• Provide the creative team with insights on new angles, hooks, and thumbnails based on performance analytics.
• Navigate compliance reviews for Taboola and Outbrain, understanding which claims and creative formats are approved, while collaborating with the team for necessary adjustments.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on channel performance, scaling progress, and key insights.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically purchasing on Taboola and Outbrain, with proven success in scaling individual accounts beyond $10K per day.
• Background in direct-response marketing — e-commerce preferred; strong nutra or lead-generation professionals who grasp front-end economics and have transitioned into e-commerce will be considered.
• Proficient in Voluum or similar click tracking tools (such as RedTrack, BeMob) at the sub-ID level.
• Familiarity with Northbeam or a comparable multi-touch attribution platform; a clear understanding of the differences between platform-reported and attributed performance.
• Strong intuition for advertorial funnels: awareness of what drives success, what negatively impacts CTR from ads to landing pages, and what hinders conversion from landing pages to offers.
• Methodical approach to testing — able to clearly explain how to isolate variables, determine when to conclude a test, and define kill criteria.
• Comfortable taking ownership of a channel build from the ground up — this position is a zero-to-one role.
