This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and sustain the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure along with its associated site systems.
• Facilitate the installation, configuration, and upkeep of MECM environments, which may include cloud-hosted and hybrid setups.
• Aid in the implementation and support of MECM components such as Management Points, Distribution Points, Software Update Points, and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
• Execute and oversee operating system deployment (OSD) task sequences and endpoint imaging solutions.
• Package, test, and deploy applications utilizing MECM.
• Administer monthly patching processes and software updates through MECM and WSUS.
• Monitor the health of MECM, troubleshoot client and server issues, and rectify deployment failures.
• Support endpoint inventory, compliance reporting, and asset management functions.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks.
• Assist in MECM integration involving Microsoft Intune and co-management solutions.
• Back cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in line with federal policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Provide Tier II/III support for MECM-related incidents and service requests.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the necessary customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Proven experience in supporting the deployment or implementation of MECM infrastructure, including the setup of new environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted or hybrid MECM environments, ideally within Microsoft Azure or Azure Government.
• Experience in software packaging, software deployment, and operating system deployment (OSD).
• Background in administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Working knowledge of WSUS and Windows patch management processes.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with Federal Government agencies (preferred).
• Familiarity with Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager (preferred).
• Knowledge of Azure, Azure Government, or cloud infrastructure services (preferred).
• Understanding of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and federal security requirements (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (preferred).
• Knowledge of PKI and certificate-based authentication (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
• CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
