Mechatronics Service Technician – Packaging Machines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the electrical commissioning of machinery and systems, as well as executing modifications and retrofits at customer locations both domestically and internationally.

• Perform installations of machinery and conduct inspections/testing of control cabinets.

• Provide support for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), both internally and at customer sites.

• Analyze and resolve electrical faults, including diagnosing issues with controllers, sensors, and actuators.

• Carry out maintenance and service tasks, implementing improvement measures to enhance stability and performance.

• Prepare service reports and document assignments thoroughly.

• Conduct training and provide instruction for customer operating and maintenance personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in machine or plant engineering is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of control technology (TIA Portal / Machine Expert), PLC programming, electrical schematics (EPLAN P8), along with drive technology and sensor systems.

• Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, with reliability and a service-oriented approach.

• Customer-focused attitude and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Eagerness to learn, with the potential for advancement into a site manager position.

• Willingness to travel (minimum of 50%; company car provided for both business and personal use).

• Proficiency in German and basic knowledge of English.

• Valid driver's license class B.
