Field Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines.

• Perform inspections, lubricate parts, and replace filters, oils, and electronic/mechanical components such as motors, gearboxes, sensors, and circuit boards.

• Carry out technical inspections, conduct internal and external diagnostics, calibrate pitch systems and sensors, and adjust components as necessary.

• Ensure operational excellence by meeting deadlines and guaranteeing quality and customer satisfaction.

• Assess training requirements and recommend process enhancements.

• Adhere to policies and procedures, acting in alignment with EHS guidelines, compliance standards, quality expectations, and the client's internal protocols.

• Safeguard assets and the work environment by ensuring the proper usage, conservation, and optimization of tools and equipment, while maintaining cleanliness and organization on-site.

• Operate on wind turbines mounted on concrete or metal structures, including tasks performed at heights of up to 100 meters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a technical diploma or secondary-level technical certificate in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electronics, or Mechatronics from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education, State Education Secretariats, or Education Councils.

• Hold an active registration with the CFT – Federal Council of Technicians.

• Have experience in field service or maintenance roles.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet usage.

• Maintain a valid Brazilian driver's license (CNH) category B.

• Exhibit initiative, teamwork, focus, and effective communication skills.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities.

• Have an analytical mindset with the ability to propose improvements.

• Capable of performing work at heights, including climbing and frequently working on wind turbines at heights of up to 100 meters on concrete or metal structures.
