Mechatronics Engineer, Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and design software for mobile robotics and automation systems.

• Work collaboratively with clients and team members on various robotics initiatives.

• Integrate sensors and hardware components within the systems.

• Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and specifications for engineering projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with integrated software and hardware systems, including autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or aerospace products.

• Proven experience in designing complex electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems from initial concept to production, with a focus on scalability and cost optimization.

• Practical experience with linear and rotary actuators.

• Competence in designing machined parts, weldments, sheet metal components, and mechanical assemblies.

• Capability to create and maintain comprehensive mechanical documentation, including GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs.

• Experience in selecting, designing, and integrating sensors into intricate systems.

• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, especially Design for Manufacturing (DfM), reliability, and cost optimization.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in English (B2/C1).
