Mechanical/HVAC Business Development Manager – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leads strategic initiatives for business development within a specified geographic area.

• Executes the market box strategy, gathers essential market intelligence, and acquires detailed project information.

• Fosters Victaulic opportunities by identifying, engaging, and influencing key stakeholders.

• Works in collaboration with the Regional Business Development Manager and/or Divisional Sales Leader to prioritize target accounts.

• Creates and implements an annual business plan focused on enhancing Victaulic's specification status.

• Promotes penetration and growth of Victaulic's presence within designated accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management is highly preferred.

• Prior sales experience, ideally in the commercial construction sector or engineering disciplines.

• Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and account management, consistently meeting targets in complex sales environments.

• Established relationships with mechanical owner groups in the data center market.

• Engineering expertise in drafting and developing design specifications is advantageous.

• Strong project management and communication capabilities.

• A self-motivated individual who thrives in an autonomous leadership position while being part of a highly skilled team.

• Capacity to exhibit drive, resilience, and adaptability while maintaining a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to showcase learning agility, innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills; capable of functioning in a virtual environment with minimal oversight.

• Able to lift over 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel overnight as necessary for the role and territory.
