Mechanical Engineer – Special Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute mechanical and/or materials engineering solutions from initial concept to product launch, emphasizing reliability in high-stress environments.

• Design, create, test, and document systems, subsystems, and components in accordance with overall product architecture, project objectives, and industry standards.

• Utilize the latest technologies, research insights, and design principles to inform engineering solutions.

• Convert customer, market, and competitive demands into effective engineering designs using an outside-in perspective.

• Collaborate with global competence communities and research organizations to remain at the cutting edge of technical innovation and advancements.

• Establish specifications, design, and validate (sub)systems and components based on product requirements.

• Promote IP creation and protection (patents, trade secrets, copyrights).

• Prepare, update, and maintain development reports and project deliverables.

• Offer coaching and mentoring to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill enhancement within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing industrial products or equipment for heavy applications in challenging environments.

• In-depth expertise in materials selection for chemical corrosion resistance (metals, plastics, seals, protective coatings).

• Capability to evaluate material interactions and risks in aggressive environments and choose suitable engineering solutions.

• Practical experience with risk assessment and reliability design for severe operating conditions.

• Experience with ATEX-certified products is a significant advantage.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to share knowledge effectively.

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
