Mechanical Engineer – Munster/Limerick Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive Mechanical systems that include calculations, schedules, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Create drawings and layouts utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).

• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other disciplines to ensure design coordination.

• Provide assistance with site inspections, surveys, and address contractor inquiries during the construction phase.

• Aid in project delivery tasks such as document control, preparation of tender packs, and conducting design reviews.

• Ensure project documentation aligns with ISO standards, maintaining current records for electrical designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a relevant third-level qualification in Building Services Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Exhibit 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position, demonstrating a history of successful project execution.

• Be results-oriented with outstanding communication skills.

• Have proven expertise in technical submissions, commissioning, and handover processes.

• Show a strong work ethic with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Possess excellent communication abilities and proficient IT skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Project.
