Mechanical Engineer, CAD Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive mechanical design and CAD tasks using a Mac.

• Articulate engineering decisions and workflows effectively.

• Generate high-quality training data for sophisticated AI models.

• Assist in a research initiative with a prominent AI laboratory.

• Engage in a 3-minute conversation with an AI interviewer.

• Complete a short paid assessment.

• Commit to approximately 10–20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

• Provide additional application information as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience, or currently enrolled in a postgraduate engineering program.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Practical experience in 3D modeling and drafting.

• Ownership of a MacBook or Mac featuring an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor.

• Operating on macOS 15 or newer.

• Proficient in Mac-compatible CAD software such as Fusion 360, Onshape, Shapr3D, or FreeCAD.

• Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawings is advantageous.

• Currently pursuing or have recently completed a Master's program, or possess 2–3 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.

• Capability to clearly communicate engineering decisions during work processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to operate as an independent contractor.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
