Freelance Design Engineer – UI/UX, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create user experiences and interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.

• Transform concepts, user flows, and UI designs into either implemented or implementation-ready solutions.

• Develop high-fidelity prototypes or frontend experiences as necessary.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams.

• Contribute to or collaborate with design systems and reusable components.

• Assist in ensuring quality and consistency from the initial concept through to delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a hybrid role such as Design Engineer, UX Engineer, or Product Designer with frontend capabilities.

• A robust portfolio showcasing both design creations and their implemented results.

• Exceptional UX/UI design skills for digital products.

• Frontend implementation skills applicable to web delivery.

• Knowledge of responsive design, component-based systems, and implementation limitations.

• Capacity to work effectively across design and engineering teams.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.

• Strong skills in prototyping.

• Familiarity with motion or interaction design.

• Proficiency in the German language.

• Submission of a portfolio link is mandatory for application.

• A brief introduction including your day rate (8 hours) and/or hourly rate is required.

• Information regarding availability and time zone is necessary.
