Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Support the design of HVAC systems for both residential and commercial projects located in The Bahamas.

• Acquire and implement engineering standards along with practical design methodologies suitable for Caribbean climates.

• Conduct HVAC load calculations and select appropriate equipment.

• Create mechanical design drawings and specifications.

• Generate shop drawings and as-built documentation.

• Perform material takeoffs for estimating and bidding purposes.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for future projects.

• Collaborate with field teams and project managers by utilizing site measurements and gathered project data.

• Recommend and specify equipment and hardware from the manufacturers we represent.

• Aid in the preparation of technical submittals and project documentation.

• Contribute to ongoing engineering and operational enhancement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience with HVAC systems in residential and/or commercial settings.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment selection processes.

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently within a remote team environment.

• A reliable internet connection and an appropriate setup for remote work.
