This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Create and engineer crane systems, components, and assemblies utilizing SolidWorks.
• Implement Automated 3D Models and modify them for project drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure designs align with customer requirements.
• Support project technical drawings, calculations, and submissions.
• Engage in design reviews and participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Strong expertise in crane design.
• High-level proficiency in SolidWorks.
• SolidWorks Professional Certification (CSWP) is mandatory.
• Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) is preferred.
• Over 5 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in crane design or heavy equipment sectors.
• Familiarity with PDM and part creation.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and fabrication processes.
• Knowledgeable about CMAA, ANSI/ASME, and OSHA specifications and requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills.
