Mechanical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive design concepts, scheme definitions, and thorough design solutions utilizing CAD software, including Inventor.

• Engage in the design of piping systems, mechanical flow diagrams, and the generation of general arrangement, assembly, component, and fabrication drawings.

• Ensure that all designs comply with the AEIL Quality Management System, delivering projects within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• HND in a relevant engineering/design discipline preferred, or HNC with pertinent experience.

• Significant experience in mechanical design consistent with BS/ISO standards.

• Skilled in both 2D and 3D CAD software.

• Background in design for manufacture, including pipework, pressure vessels, and structural steelwork.

• Experience with Autodesk Revit and GD&T is desirable.

• Knowledge of BS8888 and ASME Y14.5 drawing standards is desirable.

• Proven experience in producing detailed drawings.
