This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist in the creation and formulation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for NPI utility systems, such as water, fuel, air, and lubrication facilities.
• Employ CAD software (AutoCAD) to generate precise, high-quality technical 2D and 3D drawings that adhere to industry and safety regulations.
• Support NPI mining projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle: Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), Detailed Engineering Study (DES), Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Design.
• Aid in the creation of comprehensive tender packages and construction-ready documentation for mining infrastructure.
• Guarantee consistent design continuity across all project phases to reduce redesign efforts, prevent scope creep, and ensure feasibility for construction.
• Deliver high-level engineering administrative support, which includes performing calculations and organizing data using Microsoft Excel.
• Compose, revise, and format detailed engineering documents and reports utilizing Microsoft Word.
• Monitor project modifications and ensure that initial project assumptions are consistent with final engineering results.
• Keep accurate records within the company’s document control system, along with administrative and document formatting tasks in Word and Excel.
• Confirm that all designs conform to Australian Standards, WA Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations, and specific client site requirements.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or a related discipline.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a drafting or engineering position, ideally within the mining, heavy industry, or NPI sectors.
• Proficient skills in **AutoCAD** (2D/3D) with proven experience in developing P&IDs and PFDs being a significant advantage.
• Strong technical writing abilities with the capacity to create clear, compliant tender documents and engineering reports.
• Willingness to learn, driven, and open to embracing new challenges.
• Capability to work independently and demonstrate initiative along with problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong English proficiency (both written and spoken).
