This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design, develop, and sustain geometry processing and simulation algorithms for engineering applications.
• Create services for reading, processing, and writing 2D/3D engineering data.
• Develop rendering modules for producing 2D/3D visual assets.
• Curate and manage extensive datasets for learning-based systems.
• Implement and enhance post-training workflows for machine learning models.
• Contribute to the creation of domain-specific languages tailored for engineering tasks.
• Over 5 years of academic or industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Geometric Processing, Simulation, Optimization, Machine Learning, or Domain-Specific Languages.
• Skilled in writing clean, modular, and maintainable Python code.
• Experience in dataset creation and the development of data pipelines.
• PhD or MS with a specialization in Computational Design, Simulation, or AI.
• Experience in developing CAD/CAM/CAE software tools.
• Experience in developing or fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), including post-training techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, or reinforcement learning.
• Experience in designing or implementing domain-specific languages (DSLs) or compilers.
