Founding Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready user interfaces for our main products, including a mobile application.

• Design UI elements such as layouts, typography, responsiveness, animations, and micro-interactions utilizing Tailwind CSS.

• Contribute to common UI foundations, encompassing components, patterns, and design tokens.

• Collaborate across the technology stack using React, Next.js, and TypeScript to create fast and dependable interfaces.

• Focus on optimizing performance, accessibility, and maintainability while upholding design integrity.

• Elevate frontend craftsmanship through code reviews, constructive feedback, and adherence to shared standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind, and TypeScript in production settings.

• Outstanding CSS capabilities with a track record of creating pixel-perfect, durable user interfaces.

• A portfolio showcasing high-quality frontend or design engineering projects.

• Experience working in a startup environment as a technical co-founder or early engineer at a Series A/B/C startup (preferred).

• 4+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
