ASIC Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Implement advanced Ethernet protocols for next-generation Ethernet ASICs.

• Develop microarchitecture specifications.

• Pre-silicon: Establish timing constraints for the RTL block and collaborate with Physical Design engineers on timing optimization.

• Pre-silicon: Partner with verification engineers to formulate block/system level test plans and ensure comprehensive design coverage.

• Post-silicon: Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to address ASIC-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.

• Over 3 years of post-college experience in digital design, with expertise in Verilog and System Verilog.

• Relevant experience in timing closure and an understanding of contemporary physical design methodologies.

• Proven ability in system-level debugging and identifying the root cause of technical issues.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
