Mechanical Design Engineer – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Enhance the dependability of current robotic systems

• Guarantee the efficiency of mechanical systems under industrial field conditions

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing compact mechanical systems with movable components

• Proficient in calculating forces, loads, and torque to ensure components are robust and dependable

• Background in integrating industrial sensors (inductive, magnetic, proximity, or position sensors) into mechanical products

• Knowledgeable about manufacturing tolerances and the impact of minor variations in parts on product performance

• Experience in designing products for high reliability, beyond just functionality

• Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFR (Design for Reliability) principles

• Experience with products designed for use in outdoor or severe industrial settings, including exposure to dust, vibration, moisture, and temperature fluctuations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in English (B2/C1)
