This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Design and execute enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, which encompass canonical data models, entity relationships, hierarchies, reference data, and enterprise data standards.
• Create reliable Golden Records through identity resolution, survivorship rules, and both deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies.
• Configure, implement, and enhance enterprise MDM platforms like Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or comparable technologies.
• Define and sustain canonical data models and governance standards that enhance consistency across enterprise applications.
• Ensure the accuracy, governance, reusability, and availability of master data across various domains, including Member, Provider, and Facility.
• Design scalable architectures that promote operational excellence, enterprise growth, advanced analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Develop secure, scalable APIs and enterprise data services that make mastered data accessible to operational systems, analytics platforms, and downstream applications.
• Create integration solutions that facilitate real-time, near real-time, and batch data exchange.
• Develop scalable integration patterns that support enterprise-wide access to trusted master data.
• Design, construct, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines utilizing AWS Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Amazon S3, Athena, and Step Functions.
• Create scalable transformation logic using SQL and dbt.
• Optimize SQL, data processing, and query performance across extensive healthcare datasets.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams to execute enterprise metadata management, stewardship, lineage, and governance processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Over ten (10) years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing, enterprise data management, or related fields.
• More than four (4) years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
• Proven experience with enterprise MDM platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar solutions.
• Background in designing scalable cloud-based data platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience in developing enterprise APIs and contemporary data service layers.
• Proficiency with AWS data services including Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon Athena, and AWS Step Functions.
• Practical experience with dbt, encompassing transformation development, testing, documentation, lineage, governance, and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Advanced SQL skills and robust data modeling abilities, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), canonical data models, and analytical data design.
• Experience in implementing automated data quality, observability, monitoring, and remediation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise Master Data Management principles, including Golden Record management, identity resolution, survivorship rules, reference data management, and enterprise data governance.
• Experience with enterprise data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview) for metadata management, business glossary, data lineage, stewardship, and governance workflows supporting Master Data Management (MDM).
• Familiarity with healthcare data domains such as Member, Provider, Facility, Claims, or Care Management data is preferred.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments with HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance requirements.
• Experience collaborating with distributed and offshore engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to address complex enterprise data challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to influence executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Capability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise data solutions that align with organizational goals.
