MDM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current state of data, integration, and governance maturity.

• Establish MDM strategy, architecture, and a roadmap for implementation.

• Identify master data domains, systems of record, and authoring systems.

• Develop both logical and physical MDM architecture.

• Outline data integration, CRUD processes, and downstream data usage.

• Create processes for entity matching, merging, survivorship, and data quality.

• Assess the options of purchasing versus building MDM solutions.

• Work alongside business and technical stakeholders to provide enterprise MDM solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as an MDM Architect or MDM Data Modeler.

• Practical experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee, Semarchy xDM, or custom-developed MDM solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of the Insurance Party Data Model and enterprise master data principles.

• Familiarity with data quality, match/merge, and survivorship methodologies.

• Proficient in SQL, ETL, Python, PySpark, and AWS/Azure.

• Strong skills in data modeling, architecture, and managing stakeholder relationships.

• Experience in data governance and metadata management is preferred.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric is preferred.

• Knowledge of API-based integrations and Agile methodologies is preferred.

• Experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred.
