Math Test Developer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize state item specifications to create effective items for various projects

• Perform preliminary and content reviews independently

• Participate in and may facilitate CAC meetings, rubric validation meetings, and data review meetings

• Work under the guidance of a project’s Content Lead to oversee item pool development for a state

• May take the lead on item development for a specific grade level or grade band, with oversight

• Comprehend grade-level blueprints and convert them into a plan for item pool development

• May directly engage with clients, under supervision

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline, along with 3–6 years of experience in math education-related fields, or a Master’s degree with 1–4 years of experience in math education-related fields

• Strong expertise and experience in U.S. education and educational assessment

• Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail

• Capable of identifying issues and conceptualizing effective solutions

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Proficient in collaboration

• Required travel varies from 1 week to 8 weeks annually, for 2–6 days at a time
