This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the materials department.
• Ensure the efficient and timely procurement, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Collaborate with different departments.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels.
• Apply best practices to enhance material flow and minimize costs.
• Supervise a team of materials handlers.
• Offer guidance, training, and conduct performance evaluations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in an operational environment.
• Strong expertise in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies and Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management systems and software, particularly ISO 9000.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Capability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Awareness of safety regulations and best practices in materials handling.
• Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement projects.
