This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead a team of project and outage schedulers to provide services to the Projects/Outage Upgrade teams as a Center of Excellence (COE), covering Generator and/or Steam Value Streams for Nuclear, Fossil, and Industrial sectors worldwide.
• Design, govern, and continuously enhance the enterprise-level scheduling architecture.
• Take ownership of and manage the integrated, capacity-constrained master schedule for Steam Services Upgrades, ensuring reliable start and finish dates across commercial, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, logistics, repairs, and field service.
• Ensure the timely availability of GEV and supplier-delivered equipment while aligning with customer commitments and segment-specific regulatory requirements.
• Actively engage in defining scheduling standards as a member of the S&OE governance team.
• Make schedule performance measurable, transparent, and predictive.
• Incorporate risk and probabilistic thinking into scheduling practices.
• Lead the team of schedulers, including third-party services, and contribute to developing a scheduling talent system, including competency frameworks (S&OE governance).
• Translate scheduling data into business insights necessary for making informed decisions within the S&OE framework.
• Develop and sustain the upgrades master schedule with all established scheduling points aligned with contractual commitments.
• Collaborate with the resource owner to balance load against demonstrated capacity for critical resource pools.
• Identify scheduling risks and conflicts across concurrent projects in the portfolio, leading recovery planning and developing risk and scenario planning for potential conflicts.
• Enforce scheduling discipline, time fences (frozen/slushy zones), and change governance within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) process.
• Provide a unified, trusted integrated upgrades schedule for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Integrate with existing upgrades tools and relevant dashboards.
• Validate scheduling point variability and create/manage buffers.
• Offer clear visibility of equipment availability risks to the IMS and PMO.
• Operationalize the S&OE process and prepare formal pre-read materials and agendas for the weekly upgrades S&OE executive meeting.
• Define change classes (A/B/C) with approval thresholds and identify who can approve within each time fence (frozen/slushy zones).
• Interface and govern linkages with S&OP and DM, including change approval processes and demand/supply synchronization.
• Extensive experience in Master Scheduling.
• Educational qualifications equivalent to a master’s degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Significant experience as a Master Scheduler.
• Willingness to travel 20% domestically and internationally.
• Strong knowledge of Master Scheduling, IMS, and cumulative lead-time concepts.
• Capability to develop and mentor teams while fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and influence key stakeholders.
• Experience in industry project management (e.g., heavy industry, automotive, aerospace, civil engineering).
• Proficient in assessing load versus capacity using demonstrated performance data.
• Expertise in scheduling, including resource planning and slot optimization.
• Experience collaborating with global functions (e.g., engineering, manufacturing).
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze large data sets, identify performance trends, and create data visualizations.
• Strong facilitation and decision-support abilities.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Comfortable working across US and global time zones.
