Master Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and manage project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, including logic, sequencing, progress updates, and reporting.

• Assist project teams by developing lookaheads, identifying schedule risks, and suggesting mitigation strategies.

• Aid in the development of baselines and the review processes for change orders/time impacts.

• Generate internal and client-oriented status reports that effectively communicate critical path, constraints, and variances.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistency between schedule updates, resource planning, and earned value reporting.

• Offer visual reporting via dashboards, charts, or analytics tools to enhance communication with stakeholders.

• Facilitate risk identification sessions and support the maintenance of project-level risk registers.

• Provide ongoing coaching to junior project controls team members as required.

• Detect scheduling issues early and alert project leadership promptly to enable timely action.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A BS or AA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or relevant professional experience is required.

• A Scheduling Certification is highly preferred: Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining project schedules with Primavera P6.

• Proficiency in updating schedules, analyzing critical paths, and conveying schedule impacts.

• Comprehensive understanding of baseline management, schedule change management, and time impact analysis.

• Capability to manage multiple projects or phases in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with project controls concepts (progress measurement, reporting, EV basics).

• Expertise in MS Excel, reporting tools, and overall Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in commercial construction, industrial, or manufacturing settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with Procore, Oracle platforms, or Agile Construction concepts is advantageous, but not essential.
