Master Plumber – Colorado Plumbing Contractor Oversight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee plumbing and gas operations for the company in Colorado with a responsible approach.

• Offer code and technical advice regarding gas piping for standby generator installations.

• Assist with permitting, inspections, and inquiries related to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

• Evaluate plumbing and gas installation methods, documentation, and field standards.

• Be available via phone, video, or in-person for technical inquiries.

• Advise field teams on compliant installation techniques and problem resolution.

• Aid in addressing inspection corrections, interpreting codes, and resolving escalated field issues.

• Conduct periodic reviews of the company's plumbing processes, checklists, and quality benchmarks.

• Provide in-person support in Colorado as needed on occasion.

• Act as the responsible Master Plumber for the company if granted approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Master Plumber license or a significantly equivalent plumbing credential from a U.S. state.

• Comprehensive understanding of plumbing codes, fuel gas piping, permitting, and inspection protocols.

• Background in supervising, qualifying, or providing responsible oversight for plumbing work.

• Capability to offer practical guidance to field teams and company management.

• Excellent professional communication skills via phone, video, and email.

• Willingness to pursue Colorado licensure by endorsement if not currently licensed in Colorado.

• Ability to function as the responsible Master Plumber for a Colorado plumbing contractor if approved.

• Occasional availability for in-person support in Colorado as required.

• Consistent availability for a set number of oversight hours each week.
