Master Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, update, validate, and sustain master data records encompassing customers, vendors, materials, warehouses, pricing, BOMs, routings, and associated ERP data.

• Serve as the golden record owner, ensuring that customer master data is consistently updated across ERP, CRM, and E-commerce platforms.

• Maintain customer master data and pricing files within SAP and related systems.

• Ensure adherence to internal data governance standards, naming conventions, and classification structures.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and IT teams to meet business requirements and facilitate integrations.

• Act as the subject-matter expert in master data processes, workflows, and troubleshooting before escalating issues to IT.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and reduction of manual tasks.

• Create and manage SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and user support documentation.

• Generate reports and conduct root-cause analysis regarding data quality and process challenges.

• Assist with audits and compliance obligations (SOX).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in customer service, master data management, or ERP support roles.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish: spoken, written, and reading skills are required.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Experience with SAP is mandatory.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, along with excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities.
