Mass Inventory Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Walmart and Target planners to develop forecasting plans.

• Oversee internal forecasts for Walmart and Target, ensuring precision at both the item level and overall business level while aligning with retailer account strategies.

• Act as the main contact for Walmart and Target Inventory Analysts and Replenishment Managers.

• Create and oversee ladder plans for Walmart and Target to guarantee accurate inventory flow and prompt purchase order creation.

• Provide comprehensive forecasting and inventory reports to the Purchasing team to aid domestic inventory flow planning.

• Coordinate with GFE regarding import purchase orders, adjustments in forecasts, and updates from factories.

• Evaluate Walmart Connect and Roundel campaign performance to inform future marketing investments and business decisions.

• Conduct analyses of promotional performance and offer recommendations for optimizing results.

• Compile and assess point-of-sale (POS) data across both e-commerce and retail channels to uncover trends and opportunities for future product listings and assortment expansion.

• Produce ad hoc reports, insights, and recommendations to support business objectives and adapt to evolving business needs.

• Assist with item setup activities during peak quoting and planning periods.

• Prepare and analyze ad hoc Circana reports as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Preferred experience in inventory planning, forecasting, analytics, supply chain, sales support, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adept at working with data.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with retail customers, inventory systems, or reporting tools is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to enhance analysis, reporting, and productivity is a plus.
