This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of the 1-to-100 build. As Float's inaugural recruiting hire, you will not be following an existing playbook; you will be creating one.
• Enhance the recruitment process for 1099 Registered Nurses by leveraging sourcing, referrals, outbound campaigns, partnerships, social media, and tailored acquisition strategies specific to the market.
• Ensure a steady supply of clinicians in current markets while facilitating expansion into new geographic areas.
• Formulate targeted acquisition strategies for newly launched states and underserved areas, considering local market conditions and demand indicators.
• Detect bottlenecks and conversion gaps throughout the recruitment funnel and implement process enhancements to boost speed, quality, and engagement.
• Collaborate across functions to anticipate network demand, activation requirements, and supply risks.
• Make sure that recruitment and onboarding workflows adhere to state licensing, compliance, and partner requirements.
• Advance recruiting infrastructure, tools, automation, and processes to enable scalable growth.
• Create statewide recruiting strategies in markets with evolving demand patterns.
• Develop repeatable playbooks for clinician acquisition, activation, and engagement in new markets.
• Analyze labor market dynamics, nurse density, competition, and geographic coverage to guide expansion strategies.
• Identify early warning signs of supply shortages and proactively address network coverage risks.
• Participate in planning discussions related to growth, utilization, contractor engagement, and geographic expansion.
• Construct and monitor dashboards that track funnel conversion, pipeline health, market coverage, sourcing effectiveness, and activation performance.
• Establish and refine clinician acquisition metrics, such as CAC, channel effectiveness, and time-to-activation.
• Track engagement (applications to offers), activity (visits taken), and retention metrics to ensure the right nurses join the platform.
• Examine recruiting economics to enhance conversion rates while lowering acquisition costs.
• Develop and fine-tune the recruiting investment strategy across sourcing channels, tools, referrals, and paid acquisition.
• Collaborate with leadership to set recruiting budgets and allocate expenditures based on ROI and network requirements.
• Assess recruiting initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations regarding investment trade-offs.
• Create a vision for the Float recruiting experience that reflects the look, feel, and speed of a modern, top-tier marketplace product.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of candidate motivations, preferences, and engagement drivers.
• Work alongside clinical interviewers to enhance their skills and establish a consistent, Float-branded interview experience for candidates.
• Develop and refine clinician assessment frameworks and quality standards.
• Evaluate both internal and external recruiting tools for scalability, cost-effectiveness, and usability.
• Identify opportunities to enhance pipeline visibility, efficiency, and clinician engagement through improved systems.
• Define requirements for ATS functionality and automation, along with consolidating and branding candidate-facing tools.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance recruiting and onboarding technology.
• A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, encompassing both individual contributor roles (sourcing, screening, hiring) and operational or strategic responsibilities (process design, funnel optimization, or recruiting systems enhancement).
• Experience in high-volume marketplace recruiting, supply-side recruiting, or comparable environments.
• Proficient in building and querying datasets to extract insights.
• Proven experience in creating or optimizing proprietary playbooks and innovative tactics that yield recruiting results.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and spearhead initiatives.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
• Background in healthcare recruiting, ideally within home infusion, specialty pharmacy, home health, or mobile healthcare models (preferred skills).
• Experience in supporting 1099 contractor or marketplace-style clinician networks (preferred skills).
• Familiarity with legal, operational, and compliance factors regarding independent contractor (1099) models (preferred skills).
• Experience in multi-state network expansion and geographically distributed recruiting strategies (preferred skills).
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Omni, or similar platforms (preferred skills).
• Understanding of nurse licensure, credentialing, and compliance standards across multiple states (preferred skills).
