This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take charge of the complete build from 1 to 100. As Float's inaugural dedicated recruiting hire, you will be creating the playbook rather than following one.
• Enhance the recruitment of 1099 Registered Nurses by utilizing sourcing, referrals, outbound campaigns, partnerships, social media, and tailored acquisition strategies based on the market.
• Ensure a robust clinician supply in current markets while facilitating expansion into new regions.
• Formulate targeted acquisition strategies for newly established states and underserved areas, taking into account local market dynamics and demand signals.
• Detect bottlenecks and conversion gaps within the recruiting funnel and enact process enhancements to boost speed, quality, and engagement.
• Collaborate across functions to anticipate network demand, activation requirements, and supply risks.
• Ensure that recruiting and onboarding processes comply with state licensing, regulatory, and partner requirements.
• Advance recruiting infrastructure, tools, automation, and processes to enable scalable growth.
• Develop and oversee dashboards that track funnel conversion, pipeline health, market coverage, sourcing effectiveness, and activation performance.
• Establish and refine clinician acquisition metrics, such as CAC, channel efficiency, and time-to-activation.
• Track engagement (applications to offers), activity (conducting visits), and retention metrics to verify that the right nurses are being integrated into the platform.
• Evaluate recruiting economics to enhance conversion rates while minimizing acquisition costs.
• Create and optimize the recruiting investment strategy across sourcing channels, tools, referrals, and paid acquisition.
• Collaborate with leadership to determine recruiting budgets and allocate expenditures based on ROI and network needs.
• A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, covering both individual contributor roles (sourcing, screening, hiring) and operational or strategic functions (process design, funnel optimization, or recruiting system enhancements).
• Background in high-volume marketplace recruiting, supply-side recruiting, or related environments.
• Proficiency in building and querying datasets to extract insights.
• Experience in developing or refining proprietary playbooks and innovative tactics that yield recruiting success.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in healthcare recruiting, especially in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, home health, or mobile healthcare models.
• Experience supporting 1099 contractor or marketplace-style clinician networks.
• Knowledge of legal, operational, and compliance factors related to independent contractor (1099) models.
• Experience with multi-state network expansion and geographically diverse recruiting strategies.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Omni, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of nurse licensure, credentialing, and compliance requirements across various states.
