This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Report directly to the Strategy Director.
• Offer essential strategic insights and guidance to the team.
• Convey findings to leads and creative teams effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to conduct both quantitative and qualitative research.
• Monitor reports from social listening and web analytics.
• Integrate research findings, identify insights, and compose creative briefings for clients and teams.
• Conduct research on clients, industries, and competitors across various markets.
• Analyze competitive digital marketing best practices and establish benchmarks.
• Perform audits of the digital ecosystem and evaluate the effectiveness of online touchpoints.
• Identify opportunities to leverage digital technology to enhance clients’ online presence and marketing strategies.
• Implement and oversee digital strategies across multidisciplinary teams.
• Plan and carry out sector analyses, competitive benchmarking, qualitative and consumer research, requirements-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Present research findings to clients and project teams.
• Provide insights into clients’ strategic direction.
• Collaborate on the development of overall strategy.
• Define measurement strategies for strategy development and optimization of sites or programs.
• Illustrate the value of incorporating strategy services into client engagements.
• Offer thought leadership on requirements-gathering, consumer research and insights, site measurement and marketing, and strategic planning.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in strategy, brand planning, business analysis, qualitative research, or a related field.
• Experience in a marketing or advertising agency is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering client proposals and presentations.
• Ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with qualitative and ethnographic research methods.
• Experience in spearheading the creation and implementation of digital design personas.
• Background in marketing research and sciences to design and analyze complex studies.
• Excellent collaboration skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability.
• A commitment to continuous learning.
• Must reside in Canada, have the ability to work in Canada, and live in British Columbia, Alberta, or Ontario.
