Marketing Proposal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the business development and operations teams in the East Region to support pursuit initiatives.

• Assist in the creation of both formal and informal client solicitations throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle.

• Engage with growth teams and operations to facilitate the process of securing work.

• Lead and assist in responding to client solicitations while utilizing standard pursuit processes to enhance efficiency.

• Coordinate and produce high-quality print, electronic, and oral proposal submissions.

• Contribute to proposal strategy by conducting market research and gathering competitive intelligence.

• Create annotated outlines and offer guidance on section structure, messaging, and positioning.

• Facilitate or assist with color reviews and quality assessments, integrating lessons learned and managing revisions based on feedback from the review team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in supporting or leading proposal development within a marketing or business development environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign.

• Experience in responding to RFQs/RFPs and producing compliant, high-quality submissions.

• Ability to convert complex technical information into clear and compelling content.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Understanding of proposal strategies, compliance, and production processes.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
