This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of Bettercomp's comprehensive webinars and events program, overseeing every aspect from tactical planning to execution. This includes managing internal and external/sponsored webinars, trade shows, local/field events, and local association sponsorships.
• Administer the complete program calendar, effectively balancing owned events (where Bettercomp has control over content and format) with third-party sponsorships (where we participate as a sponsor or featured guest).
• Oversee the program budget: assess and choose sponsorship opportunities, negotiate with vendors, monitor expenditures, and optimize ROI across the portfolio.
• Manage lead targets and lead delivery: establish objectives for leads generated per event, monitor performance against these targets, and ensure prompt delivery of leads to the pipeline.
• Handle all logistics for each event: including speaker sourcing and preparation, platform setup, promotion, registration, production, and post-event follow-up.
• Create repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes that enhance scalability across both owned and sponsored formats.
• 6-8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, particularly in programs, demand generation, and/or events.
• Proven experience in managing and expanding a webinar or events program from start to finish, encompassing both owned and sponsored formats.
• Experience handling budgetary considerations: assessing opportunities, tracking expenditures, and reporting on ROI.
• Demonstrated ownership of lead generation objectives: you have established lead goals, monitored pipeline contributions, and achieved results.
• Strong cross-functional collaborator: adept at aligning diverse teams within the organization without needing formal authority.
• Data-driven: you establish goals, track performance, and leverage results to enhance program investments.
• Exceptional project management skills: capable of simultaneously managing multiple programs without overlooking details.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in front of the camera and engaging with partners and customers.
• Familiarity with webinar platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRMs.
• Competitive compensation package that includes: Base salary range for this position: $95,000 - $120,000 (annually based on experience and location).
