This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
⢠Resource Innovations is looking for a seasoned Marketing Principal to spearhead marketing strategy, foster client relationships, and manage account teams for our Eastern region.
⢠This position entails defining strategic direction, enhancing the quality of deliverables, and cultivating high-performing teams across a variety of utility clients and programs.
⢠Supervise all marketing accounts in the Eastern region, act as a reliable partner to clients and internal stakeholders, and lead an Account Management team responsible for daily operations, which include online and offline marketing, events, lead generation, email marketing, as well as paid and social media efforts.
⢠Report directly to our Sr. Director of Marketing Client Services and play an essential role in evolving Resource Innovationsā internal agency modelāinfusing agency-level strategic thinking, creative excellence, and disciplined execution into large-scale energy efficiency and transformation initiatives.
⢠Serve as a trusted advisor to utility clients and internal program leaders, steering strategic direction and shaping long-term marketing strategies.
⢠Facilitate and elevate strategic discussions, pinpointing insights and opportunities that enhance customer engagement and program outcomes.
⢠Ensure oversight across multiple accounts, confirming that work aligns with strategy, is timely, within budget, and meets established quality standards.
⢠A Bachelorās degree (BBA, BA, or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
⢠A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, client services, or account leadership is essential.
⢠Previous agency experience is highly preferred.
⢠Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, complex teams, and client relationships simultaneously.
⢠Strong strategic thinker capable of converting insights into actionable and compelling recommendations.
⢠Proven track record in developing and leading high-performing teams.
⢠Confidence in presenting to and influencing both clients and internal leadership.
⢠Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver strategic presentations and points of view.
⢠Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and capability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
⢠Experience overseeing planning processes, scopes, budgets, and performance at a portfolio level.
⢠This is primarily a remote position with the expectation to travel up to 10% of the time, mostly for in-person events.
