This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the intake process and prioritization within the marketing and creative teams, ensuring alignment with campaign calendars and business objectives, while making critical trade-off decisions during capacity constraints.
• Design and enhance the process for moving work from brief to delivery, manage workflow tools and playbooks, and responsibly integrate AI into the team's processes to accelerate production without compromising craftsmanship or brand integrity.
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of ongoing projects, potential risks, and upcoming initiatives, enabling leadership to make informed decisions; also, step in to manage our largest integrated campaigns as necessary.
• Manage and forecast creative and production budgets, oversee team resourcing and capacity, and handle freelance and creative vendor networks.
• Provide operational insights for the function, including throughput, cycle time, capacity, and timely, budget-compliant delivery; collaborate with growth/data teams to connect creative efforts to performance metrics (they manage the stack; you guide and interpret).
• Mentor and support a team of producers and project managers, while promoting a collaborative and sustainable work culture.
• Over 12 years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations, or a similar orchestration role within a creative-focused, high-growth organization.
• Demonstrated success in managing prioritization, processes, and end-to-end campaign operations for a high-volume team, with quantifiable improvements in operational efficiency.
• Experience in owning and optimizing budgets and resources across multiple concurrent projects, as well as sourcing and managing freelance and creative vendor networks.
• Strong proficiency in project management and workflow tools (Asana, Monday, Jira, Airtable, Google Workspace) and creative tools (Figma), coupled with leadership-level discernment on where AI can provide value versus risk and how to govern its use.
• Sufficient creative and production knowledge to gain the trust of designers, producers, and creative leadership.
• A systems-oriented mindset with a focus on simplification, a proactive ownership attitude, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
