This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a profound and continually updated understanding of our patients and members within Medicaid and Medicare — identifying who they are, their needs, and the factors that motivate them to enroll, engage, and remain with us.
• Take ownership of audience segmentation and voice-of-patient research, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative methods, and distill these findings into actionable insights for the entire organization.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends, translating this information into effective positioning and differentiation strategies.
• Manage Pair Team’s patient-facing positioning and value propositions across various service lines, ensuring that the messaging framework serves as a unified source of truth for paid media, branding, the care team, and our AI care advocate.
• Create messaging that connects with real individuals — clear, human-centered, and validated — along with narratives that make Pair Team an easy choice and foster trust.
• Develop messaging and packaging tailored for new audiences, programs, and markets as we grow.
• Oversee and enhance the entire patient journey — from welcome kits, onboarding, after-visit communications, to re-engagement efforts — to ensure that more patients activate and remain engaged.
• Design lifecycle and member communication programs across various channels, collaborating with Care and Operations to make every interaction feel personal and supportive.
• View activation and retention as products that can be improved rather than one-off campaigns.
• Act as the communicative bridge between product and patient: convert Flora (our AI care advocate), Arc, and patient-facing experiences into easily understood patient language and materials.
• Relay patient insights, concerns, and obstacles back into the product roadmap to ensure we develop what patients genuinely need.
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for new patient-facing features and service line launches from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Brand & Creative teams to enhance conversion rates across the funnel — including landing pages, intake processes, creative content, social proof, and bilingual experiences.
• Conduct message and creative testing with statistical rigor, and establish metrics for evaluating product marketing's impact on conversion, activation, retention, and message effectiveness.
• Create feedback loops that transform results into refined messaging, improved experiences, and clearer signals for the roadmap.
• 6+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle, or growth marketing, with direct responsibility for product or service positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• A demonstrated ability to convert customer or audience insights into impactful positioning and messaging that measurably enhances conversion, activation, or retention rates.
• Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research — including audience research, segmentation, and message testing — with the ability to synthesize findings into a coherent narrative.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities; capable of simplifying complex ideas and writing for real people, not just buyers.
• Experience in close collaboration with product and design teams to influence roadmaps and launch new features or experiences.
• Proficiency with data and metrics — including funnel metrics, A/B testing, and cohort retention strategies — and a fluency in working with analytics.
• Experience functioning in early-stage, high-growth settings characterized by ambiguity, minimal processes, and direct accountability for results.
• A systems-oriented mindset — improving outcomes through enhanced research, messaging, and reproducible workflows rather than simply increasing output.
• Strong alignment with Pair Team’s mission and a dedication to promoting equitable care for underserved communities.
• Competitive salary: $180,000 - $200,000
• Equity compensation package
• Flexible vacation policy – take the time you need to recharge
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
• 401(k)
• 100% company-sponsored short and long-term disability and life insurance
• Subsidized backup childcare and caregiver supports through Wellthy
• Work entirely from the comfort of your own home
• Monthly $100 work from home expense stipend
• We provide the necessary equipment for the role
• Opportunity for rapid career progression with ample room for personal growth!
