This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +25 more states.
• Media strategy development: Collaborate closely with account teams to comprehend the objectives and requirements of strategic manufacturers, and create and implement digital media plans and advertising strategies to support and achieve those goals.
• Continuous analysis and optimization: Engage in proactive and ongoing analysis of campaigns to uncover insights that lead to actionable strategies aimed at continually enhancing performance and advancing client objectives.
• Problem-solving with stakeholders: Identify and tackle marketing challenges by collaborating with internal marketing/sales teams, manufacturers, and retailer resources to devise effective solutions and execute them promptly.
• Reporting and performance analysis: Deliver regular reports and analyses of campaign performance and insights to both internal and external stakeholders, using these insights to guide future strategies and optimizations, thereby accelerating growth.
• Conduct additional performance assessments as required, aligning with internal retail and marketing stakeholders to inform a strategic approach.
• Oversee medium-to-large clients with more intricate strategies and media plans.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting: Manage various projects, deliverables, and clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Research competitive and keyword landscapes to determine suitable targeting; audit and analyze historical campaign performance to inform future strategies.
• Ensure that spend pacing aligns with the agreed budget and make necessary adjustments.
• Establish monthly budgets at the campaign level for all clients.
• Attain proficiency in and utilize research, automation, and execution platforms and tools to enhance efficiencies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Amazon retail and external platforms to extract brand, category, and competitive insights, as well as sales data to evaluate the success of campaign strategies and their overall impact on the business.
• Capture, manage, and execute all client-sponsored ad follow-ups and deliverables promptly, ensuring timely and professional communication with clients and the internal team at all times.
• Stay informed about industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the digital advertising realm, as well as changes in Amazon and Marketplace features, including ad product enhancements and launches, leveraging this knowledge to shape effective strategies and ensure clients are early adopters of relevant opportunities.
• Experience with Amazon Advertising and other retail media channels is essential.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
• 2 to 5 years of marketing experience is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel is necessary to efficiently manipulate large data sets for analysis.
• Preferred experience includes Downstream, Tableau, Skai, Jungle Scout/Cobalt, Criteo/Citrus Ads, and Retailer ad console platforms.
• Experience in digital marketing, search engine marketing, and programmatic media buying is advantageous.
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic media plans.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Amazon tools, including the Amazon Advertising suite of solutions, is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze substantial data sets and identify trends to inform business decisions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and multitasking skills are essential.
• Certification in Amazon Advertising is a plus.
