Marketing Manager – Digital Visibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Take charge of One NZ’s strategy for digital visibility encompassing search, AI-driven discovery, and emerging digital ecosystems.

• Develop governance frameworks and best practices to enhance how One NZ is discovered, interpreted, cited, retrieved, and recommended across search engines, LLMs, and AI-enhanced experiences.

• Identify and prioritize enhancements related to content, technical aspects, metadata, authority, and information architecture.

• Lead the comprehension of the changing discovery landscape and convert shifts in search behavior, AI technologies, and retrieval models into strategic initiatives and business prospects.

• Collaborate with content, digital, product, and marketing teams to integrate digital visibility requirements into planning, design, development, and publishing workflows.

• Track visibility performance, AI representation, search behavior, and emerging trends, transforming insights into optimization roadmaps and investment priorities.

• Advocate for digital discoverability through capability development, governance, measurement practices, and identifying new technologies and opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO, GEO, AI search, LLMs, or emerging digital discovery ecosystems.

• Strong grasp of content strategy, information architecture, structured data, and technical optimization for enhanced discoverability.

• Experience in enhancing entity authority, knowledge signals, and AI retrieval effectiveness.

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and integrate discoverability into digital, content, and product delivery processes.

• Excellent analytical skills, with experience in measuring visibility, AI representation, and discoverability results.

• A strategic mindset coupled with curiosity, enthusiasm for change, and a proactive approach to new technologies.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving intricate problems, and building new capabilities through practical outcomes.
