This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
β’ Take ownership of and enhance Grove's lifecycle and trigger ecosystem β which includes intricate Braze canvases, targeting and exclusion strategies, Liquid personalization, and technical integrations with Shopify and Recharge.
β’ Design, implement, and streamline A/B and multivariate tests across various channels, ensuring a continuous testing pipeline that builds on insights over time.
β’ Develop, quality assure, and launch campaigns and canvases directly within Braze for email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app channels.
β’ Assess campaign and trigger performance weekly and monthly, translating findings into actionable insights.
β’ Apply a strategic perspective to lifecycle program decisions β providing insights on prioritization, future testing, and identifying key opportunities.
β’ Work collaboratively across teams β playing an essential role in the integration of CRM with new personalization and loyalty systems.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, preferably within a multi-category DTC retail environment.
β’ A genuine AI-native mindset β actively utilizing AI tools to speed up execution, enhance personalization, analyze data, and expand the capabilities of a lean team.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with Braze β including canvases, campaigns, content blocks, Liquid logic, segmentation, and custom events; equivalent experience with another enterprise ESP may be considered for exceptional candidates.
β’ Comfort with technical complexities: custom event payloads, Shopify catalog integrations, subscription platform data (Recharge is a plus), recommendation algorithms (Constructor.io is a plus), and knowing when and how to request new data or events from Engineering.
β’ Proven A/B testing skills β not only running tests but also designing them effectively, measuring results accurately, and leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
β’ Strong analytical abilities and a practice of connecting efforts to business outcomes, beyond just execution metrics.
β’ Proficient in HTML/CSS, including the capability to create and modify email templates, troubleshoot rendering issues, and confidently work with dynamic content.
β’ Sufficient creative capacity to develop engaging messaging and contribute significantly to briefs β while not needing to be a copywriter, you recognize quality and can achieve it independently when necessary.
