This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Enhance Hart's positioning in the market through exceptional thought leadership, blog entries, press releases, and earned media opportunities.
• Produce authoritative blog posts and extensive content on pertinent subjects for healthcare IT leaders.
• Conduct interviews with executives, subject matter experts, and clients to reveal insights and challenges.
• Generate content that is optimized for both traditional SEO and answer engine optimization.
• Craft clear and credible content that meets the needs of healthcare decision-makers.
• Compose press releases for announcements, partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Create media materials such as story briefs, company backgrounders, and award submissions.
• Identify applicable media outlets and develop targeted pitches for healthcare IT narratives.
• Suggest article topics and enhance content to align with executive search behaviors.
• Over 7 years of experience in journalism, healthcare communications, health tech content, public relations, or editorial strategy.
• A robust portfolio showcasing published works in healthcare technology, digital health, health IT, hospital operations, healthcare data, interoperability, EHRs, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience writing for executive audiences, especially CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, health information leaders, IT directors, and healthcare operations leaders.
• In-depth understanding of how healthcare organizations assess technology vendors, manage EHR transitions, modernize data infrastructure, and tackle data accessibility issues.
• Evidenced ability to distill complex technical and operational subjects into clear, engaging, and credible narratives.
• Experience in drafting press releases, contributed articles, media pitches, and executive thought leadership pieces.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, content authority signals, and emerging strategies for answer engine optimization.
• Established relationships with healthcare IT publications, trade media, editors, analysts, or industry newsletters are highly preferred.
• Capability to work autonomously, interview subject matter experts, synthesize intricate ideas, and produce polished content with minimal supervision.
