Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee AlphaRoot’s online presence

• Drive lead generation in the cannabis and emerging risk industries

• Integrate traditional insurance marketing with contemporary growth hacking

• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Partnerships, and Technical teams

• Execute data-informed recommendations

• Assume responsibility for all paid media channels

• Identify, negotiate, and implement sponsorships

• Work alongside Sales to implement Account-Based Marketing strategies

• Develop strategies to optimize conversion rates

• Manage the marketing budget across diverse paid experiments

• Utilize AI-driven tools for content creation

• Craft automated email sequences

• Apply data modeling to uncover trends in lead behavior

• Direct the organic growth roadmap and specialized content creation

• Oversee a network of third-party affiliates and contractors

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in marketing

• At least 2 years in a leadership role

• Experience in fast-growing startups or highly regulated sectors (InsurTech/FinTech)

• Demonstrated experience with AI tools (e.g., LLMs, image generators, automation wrappers)

• Strong history of managing five-figure monthly advertising budgets

• Expert-level understanding of CRM systems, Content Management Systems (CMS), and marketing automation tools

• Proven ability to source, onboard, and manage freelancers or offshore agencies to enhance output

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications

• Proven success in executing effective growth marketing campaigns

• Experience in customer acquisition, retention marketing, and CRM (Salesforce)

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in productivity and communication software (i.e., Google Docs, Microsoft Office, CRM, WordPress)

• Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud suite - Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, Jira

• Knowledge of Agile methodology is advantageous
