Marketing Manager

📋 Description

• Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to oversee and implement an annual marketing strategy that meets business objectives. Present a thorough strategic plan, editorial calendar, and channel optimization each year.

• Design and execute marketing campaigns utilizing various content forms (e.g., case studies, white papers, webinars), direct mail, digital marketing, and public relations. Set measurable campaign objectives and apply different reporting methods to assess outcomes.

• Serve as a liaison with business and sales leaders to identify opportunities for content creation and marketing innovation. Responsible for securing program approvals.

• Cultivate trusted and influential relationships with colleagues, sales leaders, and subject matter experts.

• Develop a content management strategy to ensure messaging remains clear, engaging, relevant, consistent, and actionable.

• Support the thought leadership program to enhance brand and product recognition, boost awareness of sales solutions, and build credibility. Distribute content across various digital and PR channels.

• Maintain the product positioning framework, ensuring marketing, sales, and sales operations are informed of the latest positioning based on new market innovations.

• Partner with the public relations team to secure speaking engagements, awards, endorsements, and opportunities for bylines/quotes.

• Manage the logistics of identified trade shows and speaking engagements, ensuring they are equipped with contemporary presentations, displays, and handouts.

• Identify and analyze key performance indicators for campaigns, public relations, target populations, and optimization efforts. Collaborate with internal data teams and leadership to establish KPIs and assess results.

• Act as a brand ambassador, exemplifying innovative problem-solving and collaboration. Advocate for change while consistently aligning with company goals and brand standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications.

• B2B marketing experience, particularly in the employee benefits/pharmacy sector, is highly preferred.

• Highly collaborative, working effectively as part of a team and with various departments.

• Strong understanding of marketing principles and copywriting standards across social media, email, web and digital platforms, print, public relations, and advertising.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and perform intricate tasks across various channels.

• Experience in planning and executing industry events, trade shows, or speaking engagements, including coordination of materials, messaging, and follow-up is strongly preferred.

• Strong organizational skills, with a focus on process adherence, attention to detail, and editorial guidelines.

• Provide clear, thorough instructions when drafting creative briefs and submitting deliverable requirements. Ensure essential elements (settings, links, databases, deadlines, etc.) are shared early to reduce edit rounds.

• Responsible for the technical accuracy, testing, and performance of your own work.

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills with peers and senior leaders.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines across various areas.

• Committed to accurately and consistently using project management tools.

• Follow marketing policies and priorities, nomenclature, filing systems, and general operations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Some travel is required.
