
Marketing Lead – Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take full ownership of ClawCon from start to finish.
• Create and oversee event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and execution strategies.
• Identify and negotiate with venues, production partners, catering services, audio/visual needs, and other event services.
• Manage the recruitment, onboarding, logistics, and scheduling of speakers.
• Oversee the fulfillment of sponsorships and partner activations.
• Handle attendee registration, communication, and support.
• Coordinate on-site operations and manage event staffing.
• Develop scalable systems that allow ClawCons to grow year after year.
• Take charge of post-event reporting, gathering feedback, and assessing success metrics.
• Plan and implement Developer conferences, Hackathons, Community meetups, Workshops, Summits, and Sponsor activations.
• Manage The OpenClaw Foundation's participation at major industry events.
• Create event playbooks and establish operational processes.
• Assist in fundraising and sponsorship efforts through operational excellence.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in event management, conference operations, community events, field marketing, or experiential marketing.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale conferences, summits, or events focused on developers.
• Strong project management abilities with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Experience in managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and logistics.
• Capability to handle multiple complex projects and timelines concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
