This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a collaborative partner within the Marketing Analytics team, providing insights into the performance of marketing activities.
• Generate reports on performance, assist in crafting actionable insights, and facilitate analytics self-service for the marketing team.
• Create dynamic reports and dashboards that will act as the foundation for enabling data-driven decisions across the marketing team.
• Support advanced analytics functions, including the development of sophisticated forecasts utilizing multiple data inputs.
• Consult with the marketing team to translate their data needs into comprehensive reports and self-service marketing tools.
• Produce data insights by generating graphs, reports, and dashboards to enhance understanding of performance across marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure the accuracy and availability of reporting: accountable for the integrity of data within reports and dashboards to guarantee that reported data is precise.
• Cultivate expertise in data sources: collaborate with internal marketing and cross-functional data partners to ensure the necessary data is accessible for creating reports and dashboards.
• Develop a deep understanding of university business processes: gain profound knowledge of marketing and enrollment processes, statuses, and the prospective student lifecycle, along with the supporting data to aid report and insight generation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, data science, data management, or analytics roles.
• Experience in the higher education sector is advantageous.
• Proficient in data mining, Excel, and other technical skills, including experience with analytics tools and systems such as Excel, R, SQL, SAS, and business intelligence and visualization platforms like Tableau, Cognos, Birst, DOMO, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with quantitative data and familiarity with using analytics code to extract data, and to create dashboards and reports.
• Strong foundational knowledge in analytics: comfortable using data warehousing tools and data science environments while integrating data from various sources.
• Understanding of marketing analytics, frameworks, concepts, and the analytic requirements of marketing teams at various responsibility levels.
• Proven ability to leverage data to generate insights.
• Capacity to actively engage as a team member and work towards shared goals within the team and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and constituencies.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative spirit within a diverse team, thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set and achieve goals, and maintain a detail-oriented approach while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Professional demeanor and service-oriented attitude.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems as necessary for achieving results.
