Marketing Data Analyst, Agency Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in optimizing the value derived from their marketing data.

• Take ownership of client deliverables from start to finish for your designated accounts — encompassing data modeling to final reporting.

• Create and maintain dashboards across various BI platforms, ensuring data integrity and providing clear, actionable insights.

• Oversee data transformations in dbt and manage complex, multi-source data infrastructures.

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude) to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and investigative purposes.

• Perform QA/UAT to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Employ Git for version control and collaborative efforts.

• Actively identify opportunities, trends, or risks within marketing data and communicate insights effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst specializing in marketing data.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one BI platform (Looker, Power BI, or Tableau), with the capability to manage projects across all.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Skilled in data modeling (experience with dbt is preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics for business insights.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level with excellent written and verbal communication skills (client-facing role).

• Strong analytical abilities, proactive problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and capable of fostering clarity with clients and internal teams.

• Practical experience with QA/UAT processes.

• Essential proficiency with AI tools and a willingness to learn new methodologies.
