Marketing Communications – Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create essential media messaging and positioning that conveys Esko's value to various audiences and global markets.

• Convert business priorities into effective media communication strategies that secure global media exposure and monitor outcomes.

• Establish and nurture relationships with international media, influencers, and external stakeholders.

• Oversee media outreach, interviews, bylines, press materials, and manage reputation effectively.

• Collaborate with external PR agencies while developing in-house capabilities over time.

• Design and implement integrated media campaigns and high-profile events, in conjunction with tradeshows and field marketing initiatives.

• Work closely with the executive team on media interviews and enhancing executive visibility.

• Partner with growth, content, product, commercial, and executive teams to ensure alignment of messaging with go-to-market and market-expansion strategies.

• Identify and facilitate thought-leadership opportunities through content creation, speaking engagements, and external platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• 7–10 years of experience in media, communications, or marketing communications.

• Previous experience in a B2B business environment.

• Proven experience managing both external and internal communications in an international, multi-market context.

• Strong understanding of media relations with a proven track record of building relationships from the ground up.

• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to oversee processes from start to finish.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.

• Experience in supporting communications at the executive level.

• Fluency in English at an excellent level is required.
